Sports Illustrated has published a very intriguing story written by George Dohrmann.

The story is told by Josh Luchs, a longtime sports agent who is leaving the business.

In the story, Luchs admits to paying dozens of football players while they were in college. Included in that group is former University of Tennessee standouts Chuck Webb and Chris Mims, who passed away in 2008.

Other notable players include Ryan Leaf, Santonio Holmes, Ryan Fein and R. Jay Soward. It’s a fascinating story that is worth your time. Click the link above to give it a read.

UPDATE: Luchs appeared on The Chris Vernon Show on 730 Fox Sports in Memphis on Tuesday. Click here to listen.
